Montreal Women Film Festival focuses on both emerging and established female filmmakers with fiction, documentary, animation and all genres which can inspire the world.

We celebrate films that empower female directors, writers, producers, and female characters. 

We would like to exalt, promote and screen female-driven stories and the work of women in film and to promote and engage audiences to support female filmmakers​.
